Tomorrow I get my 2nd fill. Waiting and wanting more restriction. I have a 9 cc band and tomorrow will fill it to 4-5 cc's. I was going to ask the dr. to fill it 3 cc but I will leave it to him( the professional). I read a blog of someone who had their 2nd fill up to 5 cc in a 14cc band and had too much restriction. I am glad I read it cause it gave me insight as to possible and hopeful restriction even with the 2nd fill. I am 26 lbs down in 10 wks. That includes my 2 wk pre-op diet. I am on course. Just need to remind myself not to get too anxious. I am exercising too. Just venting...thanks for

Just joined....I am 8 weeks out today. I go on Thursday for my 2nd fill. I was down 19 pounds at my one month check up, that includes my 2 week pre-op diet as well. SO just seeing your numbers made me feel better...I think I have lost about 6 or 7 pounds, so hopefully I will be at a 25 pound loss this Thursday.

I went for 2nd fill yesterday. I forgot to ask how much he put in but I get another fill in 2 wks. He told me to stay on liquids yesterday but last night after my daughter's track meet I ate a small amt. of roast and a sm. pot. and I was fine...the gr8 thing was I got on the scales this a.m. and found I had lost another 2 lbs. Maybe it was my just liquids yesterday. Who cares...I am thrilled. Down 28 lbs. heading for 30 and into infinity...

Hi, I am 8 weeks out too and have lost 26 pounds including pre-op. I too was glad to see that you guys are having the same success. I thought maybe I was not doing this lap-band thing properly. I had my 1st fill on 3/19 and go in tomorrow, 4/16, for my 2nd fill. My 1st was 1.5 and my 2nd should be 1.5, so by tomorrow evening I will be at 3.0. I sure hope this gives me the restriction I need to keep on track and move forward!
