:faint:Today is my first full day post op. Honestly, it has gone so fast that I am having a difficult time keeping up with it. I'm not in so much pain, but much gassy discomfort.

I had the procedure performed by Dr. Martin Bolivar in TJ, BC. Wonderful man. He was trained by Dr. Ortiz who seems to dominate the cyber information. The facilities were wonderful and as were the support staff.

If anyone is interested in utilizing his facilities, I would recommend brushing up on your spanish or bring someone along who is proficient.

My starting weight is 207. I know that does not sound like a lot of weight to some people, however, I am barely 5'3 and that makes me easily 100 lbs overweight.

I'm looking forward to the gas going away. It is very inconvienient. And it keeps moving, as gas does!!:bored

Quick question, did anyone else have their port located just under the breastbone??

It's nice to see a sight like this. I"m hoping it can get me through the sleepless nights!!:clap2:

Hi - I'm not banded -- but I have been a member here for a while now -- and successfully losing weight........I strongly recommend that you post on the FIRST page in a new thread for yourself -- you will get lots of support and encouragement and answers to your questions...everyone is awesome here! Welcome aboard! (P.S. - only a few of us on here are not banded - I'm the exception rather than the rule lol)
