Fried Chicken drove me crazy WTF

WELL I AM SO PIST AT MYSELF. I HAVE NO F***** CONTROLL. I FELT DIFFERENT TODAY I FOUND MYSELF REALLY HUNGREY TODAY. I HAVE 50 GRAMS OF PROTIEN WITH A BANANA SHAKE (1 cup) FOR BREAKFAST AND I WAS hungrey again in less then an hour I drank water and the next thing I knew I was going to pick up lunch for everyone (bad idea) yes I went to popeyes and I bought myself a 3 piece naked chicken stripes with rice beans and a big box of chicken with the works for the rest of the crew. I drove back to work with the shakes OMG I cant believe I have never experienced such a feeling its hard to explain hard to express oh how I want to just cry. I ate a piece of chicken while driving (something I never do prior to lap band) I really didnt think it would go down but I was will to take the chance of pbing and all I just couldnt resist. I dont no why I was so hungrey I took all my vitamins I had my protien. Is it possible I need a fill already I was just feeling full content off of so little yesterday. I am so disapointed in myself. I think maybe I need a support group weight watchers or something. I dont want a fill but maybe thats what it is I will call my Dr. and see what he says. What will I say popeyes chicken almost gave me a neverous break down :mellow: lol I am learning thats all I will beat this I will.

Don't feel bad, you sometimes have to learn the hard way. I'm not banded yet, but for what I'm reading, if you are hungry, it might be time for a fill. Hope it passes. ;)

Hang tough!! I know what you mean. This is EXACTLY what I was saying at one time. This surgery isn't as easy as most people believe. They think they know but they don't understand the mental part of it. I have had those hungers, and I am getting a fill on 4/2, and I am trying to concentrate on other things till then. Drink the protein shakes. When I am really hungry I mix 2 scoops into a shake and that takes the edge off. DON'T LET YOURSELF GO THERE!!!! Email us all, and rely on people to help you through it. There have been times I wanted to say screw it, but the people on this site have been angels. We are here for you. Go to the chat room and type the hunger away. You can do it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Don't feel bad! Please don't you are human. I was banded on March 3rd. I had two protein shakes today and i went to lunch at a friends. Her husband made steak. It was good. I ate most of it and a piece of pie. Today is the first day in weeks that I know I am full. It's a great feeling. I haven't had a fill yet but I am confident. I have thing where I don't want to deprive myself of anything. I eat it in moderation. However, I am getting hungry more now than ever! So, I pick what I eat. Even if its a piece of popeyes! I had it since surgery too. I am on full solids already. Be encouraged.

Was your tummy hungry or was your mouth hungry? That is the big question. Also why are you drinking your breakfast? No wonder you were hungery. Nothing is staying in your pouch. No liquid calories! That is one of the guidelines.

Okay so you messed up. It is behind you. We have all messed up. The band gives you another chance. Could you need a fill?Yes. Could it be your TOM that is sabatoging you?

Tommorrow is another day. Plan your meals now and get some physicial activity in too. Keep going girl.

I know exactly how you feel. I had my banding almost 2 years ago and I'm at the same weight for over a year. I also need a support system but we don't have one in this area. I would be glad to talk with you about our problems together-let's chat robin

ok dear....please excuse me....ok i want to support but i had to laugh at ur last sentence about u telling the doc u had a nervous breakdown over popeyes chicken...lol lol lol....ok, now calm down! u had some naked strips right??? i understand u sd u got u some rice also..but u just had one bad mistake....the fact is u realize now it wasnt a good idea to get lunch for the crew u obviously know u maybe messed up..so just make sure u try not to take the same route again..its ok if u had some naked strips and a few bites of rice..... now if u had some of the fried chicken...shame on u...lol im just j/k but walk ur toe into the wall (ouuucchh!!!) if u want to discipline ur self about it...lol..good luck in the future!

You're only human!! I call it my fat girl mentality. I don't know when you were banded but maybe u need a fill. I had two and yes I still get hungry. I'M LEARNING SELF CONTROL EVERYDAY!! U CAN DO IT.

Hey girl its been a while since I heard from you. You sent me an email but it was blank, a few weeks ago, after I email you.

Well to answer your blog. Some days are easier than others. Some days you will fill your restriction and some days you won't. Also in the morning your band is tighter than the evening. My doctor says don't take meds as soon as you wake up. (I used to do that before the band) He says wait a little while, I guess an hour so your body can losen up.

As far as the Popeyes chicken story....that happen to me. No joke. I work an hour away from home and I was so hungry and I shouldn't have been that hungry because I had my snack at work. So I wanted some chicken. Well I stop at popeyes. But I ate it to fast and before I can even finish the first leg. All my food came up. That happen months ago with me.
