It's been 10 days since my surgery and I've lost about 15 lbs. I know the weight loss will start slowing down now but I will forge onward! I started walking Saturday and have managed to walk every day so far. I'm not scheduled for my first fill until April 8th. That seems so far away. I'm so scared that I will eat too much and not lose the weight like I want to. Guess I'd just better be really careful and try to stick to the diet. It's hard to get in 50 grams of protein and enough fiber! Any suggestions on getting the protein in? Thanks and good luck to all!

My nut/doc said the protein didn't need to be as high until you get to regular food (you have plenty stored on your body initially), so 50gr sounds great to me. I plan to use some of those protein waters to help since I can drink these as part of my water requirement (I'm not supposed to 'drink protein'/shakes for any meals).

You're losing fast and doing great...keep up the good work! -BG

I drink Atkins protein shakes and eat the protien bars. They are low in carbs and don't taste too bad at all. Much love!
