Yesterday I went to the Dr. and hospital for all my lab work and tests, boy, I sure didn't know so much had to be done! All that thick,nastey stuff I had to drink!:cursing: But now that is behind me and now I can start on my new and exciteing journey! I sure could use a LB buddy about now! So if anyone one is just starting thier new life,get in touch with me. My surgery date is 04-06-09, so this is just my pre-op diet.

Hi Doodlebug, I started on the journey in January. I still do not have my DOS but I am hoping it will be soon. I do not have to go on a pre op diet. I guess different Docs different ideas. I hope we can be friends. Cheryl

Hey, if you haven't found it yet there are groups on here by your surgery date. It helps to get support from people who are at the same place you are. Just go to the forum tab and then down to groups, click on 2009 and then it will give you a choice by month. Start a thread there or join in one and let people know you have a date. Keep blogging here though, it can be your journal of how you're journey is going. I'll be joining you soon (maybe in April!). -BG
