Got another fill Feb. 23 2009. I can finally say that the hunger pains haven't started back since the fill. I also lost 7 pounds in 3 mths. I've lost 43 pds with 35 to go. My body gives a whole new meaning to lose the weight slowly. Got banded 1 yr 3 mths ago, but that's ok. Things are looking up..thank goodness...I was getting awfully discouraged. Good luck everyone who reads this..I know what you are going through.

WOW!!!! That is absolutely wonderful. I am new to this site, but what a blessing finding it. Any advise? I am getting banded 3-9-09. Looking forward to my 1 yr mark.

Slow loser...me too!! I was banded 9/25/08 and lost 12 lbs in 6 weeks, then 7, then 8, then 9...still at 12 lbs on week 12! It took a long time for me to get to 20 and at 5 months I've lost 23!!! In the past, I would have given up and blown it! Not now...this is a new life for me. It will come off in its own way. All I know is that it's 23 pounds I didn't gain.

I can't wait for 6 months, 1 year, etc.

I am a slow looser too. I have to stop myself every once in a while and review my progress and what I am currently eating and my exercise routine. Congrats on your loss and hang in there. We will do it this time.
