ok so i had an "aha" moment. i've been struggling a little since my first fill, with not feeling any restriction but i've talked about that enough. ok so today after work i pick up my 2 wonderful kids (my lovebugs)

18 months old, princess chloe and 4 yr old, self proclaimed, king elijah. after running a few errands locally around town they have both fallen asleep by the time i get home. herin lies the problem. i live in a rather larger condominium complex and my parking space is not at all close to my unit, coupled with the fact that my husband works at night, so that leave me to somehow get them both in the house. i some how get them both out of their car seats elijah up on one shoulder and chloe on the other....and i'm waiting and praying that one of them will open up thoes beautiful brown eyes so i can at least put one down and they can walk, but no such luck. so here i go in my 3 inch heels, trying to walk very quickly trying get from my parking spot at my condominum complex to my front door, a good 200 steps and i'm thinking good lord these kids are heavy (36lbs/24lbs) when "AAAHA" hits me as my arms start to burn and tingle. my 2 kids collectivley weigh about 60lbs, thats only 8 pound shy of what i've lost since my start (pre and post op together). that's when i said to myself, "self." you have done a good job so far!" thats 52lbs down that i dont ever want to carry around again unless its in the forum of my 2 precious lovebugs.

Ha...too cute (and love their names!). One woman I know uses 10# bowling balls as her ticker...can you imagine trying to carry those...oh, yes you can (kids sleeping), but imagine carrying them around all day strapped on your back (how do our bodies handle all that extra weight?!). Good job...love the ah-ha!

ddgalarza~ Great story. Just wait until you reach 100 pounds. I think my youngest weighs 150 and my oldest is 250. She is going to be having surgery soon too. I can't wait for her to do it. I worry about her weight more than mine sometimes. She's only 22. I'm excited to see how you do- we are so close in where we started and where were at today.
