One small Lapband, a Giant Leap for Me!

Have been feeling quite lousy these past two days since my lapbanding: the idea that I would be put on a compulsory liquids-only diet for a month is, to put it mildly, revolutionary; what is worse that nobody told me about it before the surgery.

I was led to believe that I could eat the same kind of food, except that I wouldn't be able to consume it in the same quantities even if I wanted to because of the reduced volume of my stomach...

Consequently: even though I don't exactly feel hungry, I can't really stop thinking about food, in fact more so than I did earlier. I guess the best way is to keep my mind occupied with other things...

But thanks to post-op complications, even that isn't easy: first it was constipation, and with the Biolac (laxative) prescribed, I now suffer sporadic bouts of loose-motions that have compelled me to stay at home all day.

Hopefully the next post would be more uplifting!
