Well this am's weight was 218, that was after having friendlys last night. Reeces pieces 3 scoope sundee. YUM, however I should not be doing that too often. Its so hard. I really can not eat bagels anymore. THey hurt to much. I shouldn't be eating them anyway. I was eating whole wheat but still not good choice. THis am i had a light english muffen with pepper jack cheese and once thin slice of turkey. I think i should follow weight watchers that would probably help me. All i know is i had this surgery and i don't seem to be loosing like i think i should. HELP. I wonder if i streched my pouch???? I want to be thinner. Not a rail but Thinner. I definately eat much less why am i not loosing . :blushing:

I'm pre-band, but isn't bread, especially a dense kind like a bagel supposed to be a no-no because it expands so much (stretch your pouch)? I feel your pain...I could live on bread & chocolate. Have you done what I keep reading over and over (and over) here: track every calorie for a week & limit liquid calories (including ice cream), track your exercise/calories burned for a week, solid protein first always-then veg./fruits, no liquids with meals, discuss all this/fills with your Dr. (maybe you need a fill)? I don't think it's just eating less, but eating the right things in the right order. I know, easier said then done...good luck!

I am almost 7 months post-op and I have not had one bite of bread since 2 weeks pre-op. This is one thing I agreed to give up before I had surgery. Besides I think if I tried I would be sick. Also, what's with the sundae? Was that a low fat, sugar free sundae??? LOL I think you will do great you just have to look at your food choices. I know I can only hold so much so I try to make wiser food choices now. I am not saying I have eaten everything I was supposed to for the last 7 months. For me to say that would be a lie. I think when you get to where you need to be with your fills you will see how important it is to eat the right foods. Also, the more you lose, the harder it is to lose. I mean, I don't eat a tenth of what I used to but my body has gotten used to eating that amount now. So that's when the exercising has to kick in. I have to admit that I am not the best exerciser in the world but I try. I have a BAD back so it limits me in any kind of strenuous exercise. I do have an ab roller though which doesn't seem to bother my back at all. And I try to do some floor exercises plus the fact that I am on my feet walking all day long at work. This isn't the right kind of walking but I figure it has to beat sitting at a desk all day. Anyway, hope something I have said helps you. You will do great. Just discontinue the bread and sundaes...LOL
