Cheese anyone????????????????? 14 days post op!

I am 16 days post op and feeling pretty good. Down 21.4 pounds but have a questions? can you eat shredded cheese on your soup if you melt it?? Have no idea, just wondering if anyone has tried it?

Well I love cheese and it's a great source of protein. I would get the soup in hand (the tomato is great) and take a bit of grated Parmesan and sprinkle that with some Italian spices and fresh black pepper, nuke for a minute and 20 seconds and ......you have Italian soup tastes just like pasta sauce and it was lovely. I still heat it.

I also got finely shredded Sargento low fat cheddar and that is yummy also on soup and salads.

Melting it helps.

So go for it...start with just a tiny bit and see if it bothers you.
