Chubby Girl among Exercise Fanatics ...
Hi,
I am a civilian employee who works for the Alabama Air National Guard and I am surrounded by military folks who put a premium on physical fitness. We have two small "gyms" on the base, and are given 45 minutes to exercise every day - but I can't make myself do it. The heat in Alabama is so intense that the thought of going outside to do anything physical is out of my realm of thinking right now. So, I'm relying on sticking to a strict diet to get the pounds off. It has been almost two months since my surgery and I've lost about 25 pounds. I'm going to see my doctor on Monday and ask for more than the 2 ccs of saline I have in my band. It's just not enough - I'm hungry and I can eat just about anything without any restrictions (physically). Hopefully some additional saline will help me keep the hungry feelings away.
So nice to have everyone's input at this website and realize that I'm not alone in the lap band world. Thanks:thumbup:
