We had a busy day today with lots of errands. I did alot of walking and got a bit tired and sore.

I stayed on my liquids today but its getting really hard to do. My stomach is noticing a certain lack of food bulk.

I'm going to increase my liquids more and more to try to make up the difference in not eating solids at all to see if that helps the hunger.

I did have a hard time seeing different restraunts today and having old food cravings. Seeing TV shows and commercials about food are difficult too. Its gotten to the point that I dont want to eat with my family because it makes me miserable. I want what they're having.

This liquid diet for 2 weeks is really hard but I'm going to do my best.

I am at day 6, also feeling real hunger, i am not getting in enough protein, i really dont care for the protein shakes i have tried. my big treat is tomato soup, and popsicles. my chest still hurts to take a deep breath, and still have some gas pains. i have been walking every day 20 minutes. it is very hard to cook for my husband and 3 kids, the smells, everything about it makes me sick..then my husband brought home mcdonalds for himself the other day, it is all i could smell, told him he really needed to be a little more sensitve, since my downfall has always been fries!!! but i am journaling alot it seems to help to put feelings on paper, i am 39 and overweight for about 20 years...its my time now, i try to think, i know what all the food takes like, that is why i just had 7 months of hell waiting for surgery!!! keep strong, we are worth this battle, the battle is for us, i dont go to the dr. till 8/14 hoping lots of lbs have come off by then!! lots of water thats the ticket... good luck

I dont enjoy cooking for others at all right now at all. I told my husband if he's going to eat at Mc Donalds or something to take our daughter and go there instead of bringing it home.

My surgery wait wasnt nearly as long as yours. How horrible was that?

I agree with the water. It really does make the difference.

Thanks. :frown:

    • I’ve used my Xbox for exercise games too and it can be pretty motivating, especially on days when I don’t want to leave the house. Kinect games really do make you move, and after a session with kickboxing or dancing, I always feel like I’ve actually gotten a solid workout. The controller-free setup feels way more natural for workouts than anything I tried on the Wii. Zumba is fun but definitely takes a little time to get the moves right. Lately, when I’m not working out, I spend time trading CS2 skins and finding new guides on this link. There’s a lot of interesting tips if you’re into games outside of fitness too.
    • I'm literally almost crying reading this. Mostly because I'mon this pre-op diet and these last two days have been difficult... but also because I needed this! Thank you! Congrats! Einarmige Banditen
