My name is Shark Mom 606. I start my liquid diet tomorrow and then will have my surgery in 11 days. I'm so excited!!!! Any good advise for me?

The liquid diet was sooooo hard for me at first, but you get to a point there a switch clicks and you realize you CAN do this....with out cheating!! And you have got to laugh...I tell my friends when they ask me how I am doing...."GREAT....the new me...I LOVE BEING HUNGRY" IT ROCKS.....This must be what it feels like to be skinnny...HUNGY! JUst kidding...but you have got to laugh!!!

look for the good recipies..thats what I did..There s some forums out there for what to eat and stuff...or rather drink. I'm gonna go through it soon...good luck hun...

hey i am mom of 2 and my surgery is august 12 ? same day as you ??? first day seems to be going just ok with liquid diet i am nervous also is hard to give up everything but i am dedicated to a whole new me ?

Thanks for the encouragement! I didn't realize that I was so attached to food. My husband said I'm not a nice person when I don't have food. My surgery of Aug. 11th. Has anyone had Dr. Huacuz in Mexico? Please let me know.
