Band Date 5/28/08 -Stressful week
Today is Day 6 of my post-op diet. I've been doing well & I'm already down 16 lbs from surgery date!
I scheduled four days of relaxation to de-stress before my surgery. My husband & I flew to San Diego and two days later, I received a call that my grandmother (favorite person in the world!) passed away. So, two days later, I had surgery in Mexicali, Mexico. Two days after that we drove back to San Diego & flew back to Oklahoma. Luckily, they were able to hold the funeral for me....that had been a worry. So, now three days after the funeral, I'm doing well.
I'm encouraged by all the success stories on this website. Hope things continue to go well. I'm started my modified clear liquid diet today.
:smile2:I'm still in shock that I've lost so much, but I'm guessing it is mostly water weight. Time will tell!
