I just got my Lap Band on 4/28/08.....I feel pretty good today I have not even taken an pain medication.I have looked at others on here and everyone looks good.....Congrats

I hope I too will have success I have been overweight all my life...I have lost tons of weight only to put it right back on. The Lap Band is gonna save me! I am determined.:rolleyes2:

Congrats! I was banded on April 23... I've already lost like 22lbs! Its a hard road... but really worth it.

Hello. I too was banded on 4/28. I am doing okay on bland drinks, hot lemon tea. Only trouble was with the blood clots from the throat tubing. Just haven't had this before. It's quieted down now. Enjoying hot cappucino medifast drink. Life is good.

Hey! I was banded on April 23rd as well! I havent had much trouble, but still get a touch of the runs when I try to eat bullion or broth. I think the hardest part is that I still have to cook for my kids and my will power is put to the test! I cant wait till next week when I can eat oatmeal or mashed potatoes! Ahhhh... the small pleasures of life!
