I have been preparing for this procedure for about 5 months now. I finally got an approval from my insurance and and set to go on Feb 8, 2008. I am on the liquid diet for the next 2 weeks. It has been hard but everytime i really think about it i just think about the positives that this will bring.

 

Monday January 28th:

My first day on the diet: I had my shake for breakfast at about 930am. Around noonish i started to feel hungry again and waited until about 1 to have my lunch. I had a small piece of chicken with some baby carrots. The rest of the afternoon went by pretty fast and once i got home from work is when i really felt it. I was hungry and really tempted to eat but i knew couldnt. I have to lose 15 lbs by the 8th.

 

Tuesday January 29th:

My Second day: This morning i did the same thing for breakfast. I forgot my lunch so i went to walmart and bought a lunchable and only ate the ham and cheese. For dinner i had a small salad with a little bit of chicken. One thing that i am finding is i am going to sleep earlier. By 10pm i am OUT!!!

 

Wednesday January 30th:

My third day: Today has been getting easier. I guess my body is adjusting. For breakfast i had a shake and for lunch i had a small piece of chicken. For dinner i had my shake again. I still went to bed a little hungry though.

 

Thursday January 31st:

I have pretty much done the same today that i have been doing the past few days... I weighed myself this morning and i have lost 5 lbs. WOW! That made me excited. 5 down 10 to go!!! I am about to have my shake for dinner... :rolleyes2:
