Has anyone had complications? I only had my first adjustment on September 11, 2007. I am still getting sick daily when eating food. I am living on Carnation Instant Breakfast, Cream of Chicken Soup and Pudding. Is this normal?

I didn't have any restriction after my first adjustment, but I just had my second one yesterday. Had my first episode of 'sliming' last night after taking several small pills. I'm supposed to be on liquids today, had hot tea this morning; I've heard it will open the band (hot drinks) sometimes. Today at lunch I ate some fish and potato salad, very small amounts and chewed it well, did ok. If you don't loosen up maybe you could have a slight unfill.

I have episodes of 'sliming' every day. If I eat lunch I can't eat supper. When I talked to the doctor they said to come back to see them in two months.

i dont think you made a mistake. you must chew chew chew. maybe start with small entrees like banquet 88 cent dinners. use baby spoon. really helps. try whey protein shakes they have large container at wal-mart $12.96 in blender with fat free or skim milk for breakfast i do a double everymorning. just take a couple bites stop wait eat slow. big lesson to learn because i was always a fast eater.

I am completely unfilled because of reflux. Well, ok, it may be a slip, but officially reflux. I think sliming is kind of part of being restricted. Gotta chew better maybe. This surgery appears to have quite a bit of complications on a daily basis.
