So I gues I'm the new "kid" on the block.

 

I am six days from the big day, so I've been on the diet for about a week.

 

My husband is a body builder, so I had some experience with protein drinks prior to starting.

 

Even so I decided to try the ones listed by my doctor, and to my surprise the :hungry:ADKINS ADVANTAGE :hungry: has the best taste ever... no after-taste at all! (I was dreading the taste of yucky food more than the thought of less food. Hooray!!!)

 

To bring you up to date...

 

I'm 56, and weighed in at 218 at the time of approval. Since I am only 5'5" tall the BMI thing was not my Ace. It was the health issues, poor family history, and bad genetics that pushed me over the line.

 

So here I am, as nervous as a tick... but happy too. :nervous What can I say? I'm a whimp!!!

 

Hats off to those who have gone before! Did I mention I'm as nervous as a tick??????????????
