So as of yesterday, I had figured I wouldn't be ready for banding until late May or June. Rachel the nutritionist told me that she would send my paperwork over right away, but the decision could take up to 45 days to be made. Yesterday, I called the doctor's office and asked if they could let me know if all of my paperwork was in and if it wasn't I could get it rolling. Amanda called me and left me a message at home to call her so I called her this morning and she called me back.

One of the first things, she asked me was "When do you want to have surgery".

I was shocked, I had my mind set on a few months from now and here we were setting up a surgery date for 11 days from today. :clap2:

I picked Brian's birthday the 24th over waiting a week till the 30th. They do the surgeries once a week, usually mondays. A. I'd always remember my surgery date B. I'm not so busy at work after the 24th

C. I want to get this rolling.

I'm sometimes afraid of failing this. But I have to think positive. It will all be worth it in the end. My goals are realistic and I feel ready to exercise. Brian changing his lifestyle has changed my life as well. Both for the better I believe. I don't have this dark gray cloud hanging over me and anything is possible. There is hope again in my life where there has been none for a long time.

This is going to be the Best Year of My Life !!!!!
