July 16th Bypass surgery

Hi, I am now 9 days out (post op) I feel great. Pain has really been very tolerable. Just started the second week post op diet. I have tried scrabbled eggs, cottage cheese, protein shakes and green beans. Still experimenting with different foods,

I found that I can drink liquids whether water or shakes with no problems. And for the most part I can tolerate eating as well

My concern is. I hear some people complain of feeling bad if drinking to fast or eating to fast. I am not having those symptoms, Am I doing this correctly or what? Is anyone else experiencing this as well?

I had my surgery on Tuesday of this week. I of course am not eating any solids of any type but I am not having a problem with drinking too fast and feeling badly.

ok..today is 2 weeks post op,,,I can now feel a big difference when I eat. I feel like I am stuck and full of air. I have to stop eating after only a few bites and walk around to get the air out, then I can continue to eat then stop, walk and do over again..ugh.

But the weight is coming off. I started at 191 and today I weighed in at 174. I tried on a shirt that I had bought 2 years ago, never wore cause it was to tight, So I tried it today and wow it fit perfectly. It is such a great feeling when you finally start to see results. To me this surgery has given me so much in return. I am no longer a diabetic, no meds necessary, no more high blood pressure or meds either, Tomorrow I will see my doctor. I hope he will say things are looking great.
