Almost 6weeks post op and I've been at a stall for 2 weeks every time I go on the scale which is 1 or 2 weekly I notice I'm at the same weight except today it said 1 lb down! For the ppl who been out of surgery for a while did they go through this? And I only lost 27 lbs in almost 6 weeks is this too little?? Help please :(

Gone through it and still going through it several times over the past 7 months. 27lbs in 6 weeks in incredible. Almost 5lbs a week! Just ask yourself, "How fast was I losing weight pre-surgery?" I bet it wasn't 4lbs a week. You are going to go through stalls, we all do. It's part of the process. :-)

I am going through the same thing right now and am about 6 weeks out. been at the same weight up and down a pound for a week. I think it is our bodies adjusting. I bet next week we will loose 5 pounds. It is difficult to know you are working so hard and nothing is moving. Just remember the body is strange and miraculous and sometimes a week or 2 at a stand still just means your body is taking the time it needs to do what it needs to do. As long as you are following what you are supposed to do just ride it out. 27 pounds is awesome. I wish you all the best.

I promise the stall won't last long!!! Walk a few extra steps, and make SURE you are getting enough protein. DO NOT deprive yourself of food to lose more. If you do, your body holds on to what it has in case no more food comes down the pike! Drink as much water as you can, up that protein! (Eat some meat if you can, taco meat, chicken salad, etc) It won't take long...in 18 weeks, I have had 2 stalls, and the support on here taught me the advice i just gave you! It works! PS: 27 pounds in 6 weeks is great: You could not have done that without this surgery!

I literally was in a stall for about 4 weeks. I am 7 weeks post-op with almost 200 lbs to lose. I read a post by Cheri where she said how she had stalls of up to 9 weeks more than once. I figured okay I won't complain until I hit a 10 week stall.

By staying positive and not getting upset, it kept my very Type A personality in check. I woke up yesterday to a loss of 5 lbs. and today down another 4 lbs. So I figured I'd just embrace my slow losses and stalls.
