I am 2 months out and all along I have been complaining of servere nausea. There is no ryme or reason for it. I have been tracking myself and I don't see anything that provokes it or helps it. The nausea medicine in the stores just seem to do nothing. Anyone have any ideas.

That sounds terrible. Do you have any other signs of an acidy-stomach? Like hiccups or heartburn?

Talk to your PCP or your surgeon - it can probably be easily corrected. But you've got to let your professionals know

Don't cry! I'm only 5 weeks out, but still have pretty bad nausea if I don't take the meds prescribed by my doctor. If I keep to my medication schedule, I can eat and drink without trouble. :) It seems to be worse when I take in liquids. My doctor has me on Prilosec 2 x daily, along with Zofran (prescription anti-nausea med). Definitely talk to your surgeon or PCP, because you don't have to feel this way!

*Hugs!*

Since the start I have gotten nauseated by cold liquids. The cold protien shakes don't bother me though. I leave my bottled water out on the counter to get room temperature. I do agree with taking the Prilosec it really does help.

I have spoken to my doctor and he said they do not give out Zofran. This it is for cancer patients. I can not take the liquid flavored crap on the market. I don't know what else to do.
