one month post op, stalls and wanting to try something new

my highest weight was 279 i currently fluctuate between 246-248 nut I SAY ive lost about 33 pounds lol. ive been stalling for about a week it could be my TOM but then again it may just be the dreaded stall. i felt my collar bones today for the first time in years :) ive been wanting to try couscous or quinoa but im not sure if i can have it right now or not. do u guys think its ok?

I will be 6 weeks out on Monday. My doctor would tell you not to try couscous yet. It's what they call a sticky food. I know quinoa is high in protein but it also has 39 carbs per 1cup serving. With such a small stomach, you need to focus on getting in 80 grams of protein. I did try some soynuts the other day that were by Proti Diet and I chewed and chewed and they were yummy!!! There is not much room for too much else. You will have plenty of time to introduce those things soon. I stalled for about 10 days. It felt like an eternity, but I'm now losing again. There is not much you can do about it except to hang in there and be patient. Keep up the great work!!!
