I am one week post op. I started my full liquids monday and by Wed I had so many loose stools....like 10 that day. I had started some milk on Tuesday. I have always tolerated milk before. I used soy milk today and I think thinkgs are slowing down. Has anyone else had problems with this. I had read quite a few post that have the oposite problem.

Don't worry, what you are experiencing is PERFECTLY normal. I think we all had it, and some are envious of the time you are having now, as once you move to more solid foods, things can slow down tremendously. Essentially you don't really have anything in you right now so in one end, out the other. Don't panic, it will slow and stop. Congrats on getting sleeved!!

as the saying goes, if liquid is all that is going in, then liquid is all that will come out..

I cant take cows milk or soy so I use almond milk, it's very yummy and lactose free!

Thanks all. I started some soy and am doing alright with that. As far as clears...my surgeon has us on clear liquids for the first three days post op, then full liquid for the next week, then on to puree for the next three weeks. Thanks again!

I am 3 months out and I go back and forth with loose and then the absolute opposite. It's quite annoying... I have to stay near a rest room cause sometimes there's no warning. I believe they call them sharts. I hope this passes soon... Not good at all. Good luck with your sleeve!

I also had very loose stools before starting the soft foods stage, but not as frequent as you are describing. Just be careful about dehydration!
