Food Tolerances

I am curious, I seem to have an issue tolerating meat. Meats ranging from eggs, turkey, pork and chicken. Has anyone else experienced these issues.

 

Its been 2 months since my surgery.

What kind of problem are you having with this type of protein ( meats )?

I have problems with pork and eggs they just take longer for my stomach to digest. Personally I feel I'm still healing from surgery i was sleeved on 10-8-12. It's a process just be patient your body may need longer to heal more. I also try to eat my meats ground up for now that helps a lot. They sale like ground turkey, chicken, pork in the grocery stores I need that extra help for now. I hope this helps.

I can consume chicken but only in small amounts. Eggs and fish cause unbelievable pain/gas and I immediately have to throw up, even the smallest bite can cause these symptoms.

I do agree that I am still healing, I will try the ground meats and see if that helps.

Try to cook your chicken in the crock pot, it will be very moist and delicious. I am 11 weeks out and have not attempted pork or beef they are both very tough and even with chewing may not go down. I had chewed on some veal and it just wouldn't break down so I just spit it out might try again when I am further out. Try soft fishes and take small bites and chew well: tuna, haddock, tilapia, sole.
