Help Advise Please, Vomiting, Pain

4 weeks out drank a sweet drink tonight. Caused vomiting, bad stomach pain when touch area around large incesion on left, pain when moving. Stomach just hurts. :( should I go back on all liquads for a few days?

yes call your doctor ASAP!! most docs offer a weekend pager number. I hope yours does as well. But I would go back on liquids until I hear from them.

that's good! and after being from sugar for so long, having it now might be the reason why you felt that way. Four months after surgery I took a bite of cake. The sugar rush felt like a heart attack. My stomach was upset and it sat with me the whole night. I felt sick and nauseous. The sight of cake grosses me out now:(

Thanks everyone, feeling better but weak and still having stomach cramp/pain, and sore if I push on it. Almost like a pulled muscle where they removed lap band port.

someone in my support group had post op gall bladder pain and the doc said it was from too much fat. She went back on the strict diet again, until she was better. And closely monitors her fats. I would guess it is the same with sugars. Good luck,

gall bladder removed years ago. I stay away from fats as much as possible. Thank u evryone. Did anyone still have pain in stomach lower rib area 4 weeks out?
