We all lose at different rates, some do lose fast and some of us are lucky to lose a pound a week or less. The good news about losing slowly is that your skin has time to catch up to your weight loss. I figure as long as the weight is going down or even staying the same its all good because its better than having the weight go up!! My Dr says that "its a marathon and not a race".

You are going in the right direction! You are 25# less than you were a while ago. If you should stall....you can

always print out your diet tracking and have the nutritionalist look at. Good luck!

thanks for your feedback from all of you, not exercising yet, my doctor said 3 months and not even a month yet, so i guess i have to wait.

maybe I'm just over reacting, i have done research and noticed how everyone drops weight like there is no tomorrow.

i will see the doctor this week so i will ask him about my blood work, if everything is normal.

Well my doctor had me after a week start me exercising 20-30 minutes a day, so not sure why the 3 month wait unless perhaps there is a health condition that would prevent you from doing so. Of course listen to the doctor but you can always question the doc too. Don't worry it'll come off make sure you are getting your protein in. It should be your new mantra Protein Protein Protein! :)

I do understand how you feel. I am 3 months post op, and I have only lost 35 pounds. I do exercise 5 x a week. I guess Im just going to take it off slow. As long as I keep loseing Im not going to worrry about it.

Every body loses differently. I'm 4 months out, and have lost 45 pounds. What has been weird for me, is days when my clothes are bagging and sagging.....the scale will read I haven't lost anything or even gained a couple of pounds. Very odd.

I don't weigh daily, or even weekly.......I just eat and keep moving and grooving. I figured the scale obsession - and impending discouragement - I had for multiple years was part of how I got to 264# in the first place.

As long as the clothes are getting looser.....you are winning the race!

for those who want to know about my exercise, my doctor said 3 months but i don't know why so long, he said i'm still healing and it's too soon. So Im gonna follow his rules.

for those who wanted to know about my food, i only eat 3 times per day and not a lot at all.
