Two Months After My Surgery

so here I am, two months out almost , my surgery was May 1st. I should be eating soft foods by now, but unfortunately, I throw up just about everything I eat, I can literally get about two bites of something and hang on to it, and wait a few hours and have a couple more. I've thrown up so much that my nose is actually red and sore from the acid. :o(

However, in 8 weeks, I'm down 60 lbs! yay! things are going really well in that respect and I've gotten control over my heartburn. which is a blessing, and I feel great going to the gym.

But I'm really starting to miss food! haha!

However my doctors say to hang in and it will come! and to just enjoy the weight loss while it happens so quickly, because it will taper off....

In looking at the post surgery diets, this is not what I expected at all! but I'm still happy...

what size is your bougee? I understand that the smaller the stomach size, the more nauseated you can get? Just wondering if that has anything to do with why you are throwing up so much. I haven't vomited yet and I am 12 post -op. I haven't had any nausea either. just curious about whether size has anything to do with that or not.

I know how you feel. I have had some issues since I moved to pureed and it kind of makes you fearful of trying anything new.

What did you use for your heatburn? I had GERD before the surgery and my prilosec just doesn't seem to be cutting it like before surgery.
