3 hours later you're hungry ? sounds normal to me but I am surprised that you are hungry at all so soon post-op. Your protein should be atleast 70g a day.

I'd say if you're hungry, eat - a spoonful of peanutbutter or some cottage cheese (whatever you can tolerate at 3 wks out) - just make it protein. Oh, and make sure you are drinking water !

Are you drinking liquids throughout the day as well? I've been told don't drink close to eating (you know the rule you've read 30 mins before 30 mins after eating do not drink). I'm having head hunger issues, they are a pain and hard to control fo sho! I'm trying to stick to 4 oz.s in an hour, period. Not sure if that's "right" at this point in the progression, sorry alot help i'm not i guess :(

I have been trying different types of protein seafood goes down easier. but eating every 3 hours is about right I have been trying to work on this too. Its a new way of eating. I try to eat fruit more btw meals if its going to be longer. I stay away from carbs as much as possible.
