Good Day Sleevers and Pre-Sleevers:

Well, I survived the two week hurdle and made it back to work today. I had a fun day, but today was really busy caring for cancer patients. Only a few people noticed my weight loss, but I was wearing a lab coat so I guess I look like my usual self. I'm happy no one noticed the changes or in denial...works for me. My face is noticably slimmer and my pants are falling off. I am known for my big boobs and they are shrinking, too. I am looking forward to buying a shirt with buttons instead of pull-overs!

I am disappointed that I did not drink the two bottles of water that I brought to work. The day was so busy and I was away from my desk all day. I expect to have a slow day tomorrow and eager to improve. My doctor and nutritionist advised that H2O intake is essential throughout the day, so I have to make a conservative effort to do better. Pee-pee is supposed to be yellowish to nearly clear, and that is my clue for doing a good job. Unfortunately today was not so good sorry if too TMI (too much info)...hahaha. Often I want to drink a whole bottle of water, but I feel like I cannot. I am used to drinking two bottles of water back to back, but now I just cannot. Anyone else having this problem?

On another note, as of today I am exactly 200 lbs. My doctor said that I should expect 1-2 lbs weight loss per week. Wow - watch out summer I am making my comeback!

I am really excited about the new me to come and you should, too.

Breaskfast: Two boiled eggs - whites only

Lunch: two + 1/2 pieces of baked chicken without the skin

H2O: 1 bottle in AM and 8 oz of tea

Dinner: Smoked salmon (YUMMY!!!)

Exercise: tennis in the park with a friend

It is hard to get the water in for some reason. As weeks go by, you will get it in. i am 3 weeks out and I still can only get about 16 oz of fluids in a day. Pre surgery I used to drink a little under a gallon of water a day. I think I get discouraged because i cant drink it, like I want to. Sip, stop, sip stop, sip wait 30 min for that to go down and then start back up again. That sucks :)

Hey ladies :-) Thanks for the feedback! I thought it was just me!!! Today, I drank 2 1/2 poland spring bottles and I am currently sipping, stopping, sipping and stopping my 3rd bottle (as mynewbeginning2 described). I am a water drinker, but it's rough! I sampled a 1/4 of a cupcake today and it sent my tummy into a little frenzy. I was belching for nearly 30 minutes.

I am new to this website today and finding it very helpful. I too am finding it so hard to get in my water. I find with not being able to drink before or after eating (for that l/2 hour I was told) and then drinking the protein shakes. I drink two per day. I find it so difficult to drink the water and I just seem to feel it is a real struggle. Consequently I worry that I could be losing more weight if only I could drink more AND, I am SOOO constipated. I tell myself that I am not eating very much so perhaps I shouldn't expect lots of BM's but really I am only having a small amount once a week. I will see my gp for first time since surgery six weeks ago and hope she will have good advice for me.

Tennis at two weeks post op. I was told to wait six weeks before exercising. Now I have reached that mark and will have to dig very, very deep to motivate myself as I have always hated exercise. I am wondering if the WiiFit that I bought is sufficient as a starting point?
