You're doing fine. What a lot of people don't understand is that you actually want stalls. Yes, I typed that correctly. You want to stall. It tells you that your body is progressing through this process. Let's take a look at what your body has gone through lately:

5 incisions in your belly

Removal of 85% of your stomach

Hiatal hernia repair ... ?

Reduction of calories by about 2/3rds

Reduction of liquids by about 1/2

How should the body react? It is going, "WOA! I just lost a lot of incoming resources! I need to remap how I am going to deal with this and start using some local reserves."

Everyone goes through this. It is a good thing. You want your body to figure this out. This will not be your last stall, either, and again, it is a good thing. This is part of the natural progression.

I am going through the same thing! I am nearly 3 weeks out, and the scale hasn't moved in 6 or 7 days... It's so frustrating! I keep telling myself that my body is adjusting because of all of the trauma it has just been through... but I still get pretty down.

This will be successful for both of us!! Keep your head up... and I will try to do the same!

Your body is probably used to stopping there - I have those stopping points too - but your body will learn that it needs to get over it! You're not doing it wrong! Hang in there!

Greatest advice I have seen/heard about stalls. It is very true! I wish I only had 5 incisions! I have 7, although two of them are smaller then the others and one of them is larger.... And man do they itch!

I had to push my scale under the kitchen table where i cant see it every day, and only weigh myself once a week. I too am stalling bigtime, but inches are coming off (i was able to fit into my jeans again, woo hoo!). So even if you're not losing pounds, you're probably losing inches!
