So I have finally decided to get the WLS. It will be in January, I am just doing basic steps to get started. But as I started reading other ppls blogs and forums I get nervous and a bit overwhelmed did anyone else feel like this?

Yes, I feel overwhelmed too. That is why I joined this forum today. The surgeon's office called my the other day and told me Congrads. that I was approved by my insurance for the GS, then asked me if they could make a surgery date. Then REALITY hit! I still have to take my nutritution class 200b, which is Monday. I told them I would like to wait until I take the class then schedule surgery. I was thinking maybe in January, but the office told me it could be as early as the end of Oct. I am really feeling overwhelmed now.

I am going for February. I went to my first class last week. I sort of expected more from the meeting but there was good information. I start thinking about all the food I won't be able to have anymore lol.... But the dietician said you wouldn't want that junk after the surgery. THis forum does help. I didn't realize how many ppl have done this surgery...
