Yes, I am on my way. I was a little excited just to meet with them, but when they told me what I had to do and all that paper work, wow...you really have to want this.I WANT THIS! I feel with my support from here and being strong, I can do this. I would like to start my diet before I meet with the nutritionist. I have to try harder because I live alone and well you could imagin. So any advise well be welcomed....elite53:sad0:

hey elite my name is tyler and im 5 days post op so im not that far ahead of you but pre diet is hard but easy enough to get use to it made me lose 15 pounds in 2 weeks. so you start your days with high protein low sugar/calorie drink you can have 3 or so a day i liked muscle milk strawberries and creme along with the bananas and cream or malt. its whatever you prefer i would even suggest going out and purchasing small amounts of each company go to a local gnc or super supplements and they usually know what to get. your going to need lots of vitamins my fav multi vit is a liquid called oasis tastes like oj bariatric advantage is expensive and their multi is grosssssss your allowed sugar free jello water with chrystal light like i said about muscle milk some dieticians dont approve due to high sugar if so isopure is 40 g of protein and 0 sugars passionfruit and grape are good there kinda like juice you can have a ballanced dinner like a healthy lean cuisine i love pho and my surgeon approved you can get flavorless protein powder (get a big bag) there is no need to test that but the vitamin store will have a perfect one the bariatric advantage is like super expensive add this into broths and pureed vegetabe soups may need to get a pureer its a good purchase youll also need b12 vitamins but pretty much your day should be 1. vitamins and pills 2 protein shake 3 water or caffeine free tea and 4 protein broth 5 another shake and finally dinner aka lean cuisine find healthier ones not like mac and cheese but asian glazed chick and rice maybe for dessert half a muscle milk keep it up ask me if you got ques oh and make alot of pureed soup at once and freeze it for that you can have it after surgery

yeah dont worry about it it was all new stuff to me so if i can relay it to you the dietician will give you like a sheet with calorie protein carb whatnot requirements that may help you as well just make sure to find your favorite stuff now by buying smaller quantities trust me i ended up buying a shitload of stuff i dont like but my brothers use protein shakes for working out so i had someone else to give it to but make sure not to cheat i did a little here and there but its not worth it my liver did shrink perfectly but the stronger willed you are the better i dont know if you have a therapist already but in your alone situation i think it would be a perfect decision just enjoy your water and dilluted juices now because after surgery your full off a few sips here and there due to your inflamed sleeve im dealing with alot of nausea after little sips and i dont wanna use the supposetories keep me updated on how things are going whens ur surgery exactly
