Feeling kinda lonely today

This weekend has been harder than my last two weekends because the loneliness has finally kicked in. Yesterday I went to go see my primary doctor and she told me that I was fatigue and need to take it easy. This is hard for me to do because I am always on the go! I tried working out for 30 minutes yesterday but I only made it to 15 minutes. After that I was hungry so I had a protein shake because it was too early for me to have dinner.

For dinner last night I had some red bell pepper soup and a sugar free chocolate pudding. I ate until I thought I was full but I was hungry again around 10pm. So I had a sugar free fudgesicle but around 11pm I was hungry again WTF! This time I had a protein shake and that kept me full until 8 this morning.

Today I did little shopping and worked out for 15 min but I took a nap a couple minutes after my work out. I guess I over did it but I know it will take me some time to make my way up to 30 minute workout. Before the surgery and pre op diet I was doing 40 minute workouts.

I know my situation is only temporary because it this sorta sucks.

Thanks for reading.

You're doing exercise so soon? Does your doctor know? I was told no exercise for about 4-6 weeks, don't recall but it could have been the 6 weeks except for walking. Take it easy, you need to heal, you just had surgery and all surgeries shock the body.

About being hungry, I have no answers except I like the protein shakes as the choice.

Good and relax and don't over do it, please.

My both of my DR said it was okay to start working out. Something that is low impact. I've been using my Wii Fit maybe I should stick with walking for now. I promise I will take it easy thanks for the input.

I would definitly try to work more protein into your diet.

You can add FF Plain Greek yogurt into soups for a real boost.

Lowfat flavored yogurt will help also.

This is the part of the surgery Drs don't talk a lot about " Bandster Hell", the time between surgery and restriction, when you want to chew your arm off. Hang in there, it does get easier and better.

I remember feeling really pretty well ths first week post op, but the second week brought on great fatigue. Good thing, it didn't last long.

Your body has suffered a shock, it needs time to regroup. Don't push it.

Good Luck
