Progression Has Began

blogs/blog-0598346001360691287.jpgGreat News!!! Progression has taken place; not in the sense of the scale losing its mind and numbers reducing like haywire; no, not at all. But, progression in my sense of consciousness; I recognized how tired I was, and finally one day as I was going through my closet-- there it was, and then it reminded me of a deficiency that I had that needed treatment in order my body to get the rest it. If I used it then I would have the energy to put exercise efforts to practice. It was my C-Pap machine. Needless to say, for the past three nights the morning greets me in a different state of being. I am more rested, seems as though I can breathe better, and I started stretching my muscles. There was pain and pleasure at the same time. Felt as though I was escaping from prison, and I was. So this newness gave me the energy to be creative with what I have around the house to use to work my muscles. I filled up 3 to 4 gallon jugs of water, I used the broom handle as a level to balance the handles of the water jugs and I really enjoyed myself in increments of workout. I have a lot to look forward to. I will keep you posted.

Awesome. If you have sleep apnea always use the CPap. Sleep apnea can be deadly. I use to do sleep studies to test for this and I had many patients scare me with how low their blood oxygen levels would get during the night- brain damage low.

Depending on the type of sleep apnea you have you may be able to come off of it once you loose the weight. Obstuctive apnea are often caused by weight.

Good Luck to you!

So glad you had this revelation!! I have sleep apnea and before looking into WLS used my machine "here and there". When I went for my pre-op evaluation, the pulmonologist made it very clear that I had SEVERE sleep apnea and needed to not treat it lightly. From that day forward, I use it faithfully, bringing it with on trips too. Every once in a while, I will be up too late and fall asleep without it on and I SURE notice a difference in how I feel the next day.

Good for you and very innovative way to exercise too!
