Difficult doesn't even come close to what it is. I remember one night thinking I was going to die if I couldn't eat something. I was fussing with the hubs and asking why the heck was I doing this.

But, I was reminded why I was doing this by a quick look in the mirror in my birthday suit- yep that is why.

It's hard, but it doesn't last long and you will forget how bad it is once it's over and you are eating again. All that difficulty will be worth it.

Hang it and keep holding on. Remember to drink, drink drink- it does help, even if you add some flavoring like crystal light.

Good luck with the surgery. In about 1-2 months, you'll say that was so easy. I did miss chewing. After the surgery and so many weeks of liquids, I got bored with choosing foods to eat. I still have a protein shake for breakfast everyday because I don't like eggs.

Well hello my lap band friends. I finally had my surgery and it was not to bad @ all. Left my throat sore. I am just so glad it is over with. I know one thing I look forward to eating right I tell you that and right now I would welcome the healthy foods.lol. So if I can get pass another week or so of liquids I will be ok. I want to thank everyone for all of the kind words. At least with this site I do not feel alone. The pain in my shoulder can be a little unbearable but I have to hang in there.

Carolina girl I want to thank you for your wonderful comment and I hope you are right:))). I know you are beautiful also! Well if anyone can give me some advice now that would help me feel free to do so. I love you all! Thanks. Debbie

Dylanmiles23. Child I know exactly what you mean. I miss chewing so bad. Girl I would welcome a piece of fish right about now:). I am doing things to pass away time. I have started walking some, talking to my family just to pass the days away because now that I have this band I am definite not going to cheat because I do not want anything getting stuck. So I will be following the rules. Have a blessed day.
