Need To Get Moving

I was band in January of this year. I've lost almost 50lbs since then. I'm very happy about that. I've gone from a size 22 pants to a size 16 or 18 pants. The weight lost stopped in August when I stopped walking daily because of the heat. Since then I have not walked or excised on a regular basic. I say I going to walk every day but when I come home from work all I feel like doing is cooking dinner and going to sleep. I watch little TV because I'm asleep. I have very little energy and feel tired. I drink Chrysler lighter energy drink which does littler good. I also feel like I'm experiencing Head Hungry daily from3:30 till dinner 7 o'clock I just want to eat which it the true junk food stuff. I drink water hoping that it will do but is don't. I feel that I'm eating due to stress and looking for something to give me energy. Any good energy source or good energy food out there let me know. I would love to under 200lbs by JANUARY 2013 needs to lose 12lbs and I have the HOLIDAYS TO GET THROUGH.

Hello,

try eating protein. I love to snack on lump crab. I have also bought Soy Chips, they come in different flavors and they are protein. I buy unsalted almonds and put some olive oil in a pan and cook them and make them more roasted and keep them in the refrigerator. They are a nice crunchy snack that fill you up. Ask your dietitian for ideas, that is why they are there, to help . I would also like to be under 200 by January 1st!!!!

I would definitely look at what you are eating to see if that may be why you are still hungry. I understand you are dealing w/ head hunger but if you are eating 3-4 ounces of solid protein, then veggies/fruit you shouldn't be experiencing the hunger and should still be losing. Perhaps you need a fill too.

Is there anyone that you walk with? I am currently doing Zumba and there are days I want to just slack off. I go with a friend so we motivate each other and stay on track better.

Have you tried using myfitnesspal or some other method of logging your food? It may help keep you on track as well and honest with yourself about what you are eating to make better choices.

Also, if there are foods at home that are triggers or tempting and not healthy, I suggest getting them out of the house. If they aren't there you cannot eat them. :)

Lastly, my Nutritionist advises me to have a small planned snack between meals. It helps keep me from getting really hungry and by having a planned snack, I already have a healthy option picked out instead of being tempted to graze on salty snacks or other foods I shouldn't.
