I can totally understand your frustration and the waiting period can be daunting as we are all excited to start our journey.

Try to be patient. It will come. You have dealt with your weight probably for a long time... what's a few more days.

You DO belong. You are welcome and knowledge is power so it is good that you are on here even if you are not quite "there" yet.

Waiting is frustrating, I waited 7mths, but the knowledge I gained b/c I hung out here is better than any class I had to take.

I was actually losing hope too, I had to do a second appeal to the IL board of Insurers and they found BCBSIL against the interest of the patient (me) and they were forced to approve me. Keep fighting. If they keep pushing you back, write a letter, do anything you can if you are sure you need and want this. You will get it done. I was right where you were at the end of Sept only I gained 15 lbs from being so depressed then woke up one day and wrote a 7 page letter full of anger on notebook paper and shoved it in an envelope. I was approved 9 days later. Go get em!

We all were here before and after. Look how much you have learned. You wil get approved and be successful. You belong with us. Stay and learn that much more. We got your back.

You may have to pay for this yourself. Its a chuck of change, but what does a car cost? Is your life worth it? Haven't got alot of love for insurance companies these days. I don't believe they really have our best interests in mind, although they spend alot of money convincing us that they do (wellness, etc.). Please keep us posted on your situation.
