How much did you lose on the liquid diet? Are you excited?

I wasn't required to do a liquid diet. I was wondering why my Dr. didn't require that. I am excited but nervous too. I just want to loose this weight and stay healthy.

Also Sept. 11th here, can't wait for this pre-op diet to be over with!! Excited for all of us, I'm sure im not the only one ready to get the surgery over with and start our new lives. T&P to you all!!!

Post-Op day one! Well, I am officially banded. Surgery went well, no complcations. I had tolerable pain in recovery so I didn't request any pain meds. It definitely made a difference in my alertness and ability to move and walk when I arrived home. I have had no problem taking in fluids. For pain I have been alternating Tylenol and Advil, and taking my chewable Bromelain(pineapple extract-helps with overall inflammation in the body). I am walking every hour. So far it has been a positive experience. How's everyone else doing??
