Has anyone noticed that the more protein you take in the less sweets you want? Or your cravings just stop... Just wondering I think that I have noticed it in myself and I was just wondering if it was just me ...

I don't have head hunger or cravings much anymore since my last fill. My Nutritionist tells me for a man I should shoot for 80 to 110 grams of protein a day. I find between a 36 gram protein shake and a nice dinner I don't get hungry hardly ever. I usually have my shake in the morning and a smart one for lunch and dinner is usually a 4oz protein some veggies and if I can take in a small starch. I eat the starch last to make sure I get all the important stuff in.

Sometimes I eat just to get my intake not because I am hungry.

I had a sugar free peanut butter cup about a month ago but other than that no sweets.

What size is your band?

How much fluid do you have in it?

How long have you been banded for?

I went to smoothie king and purchesed a big tub of the gladiator protein mix it will give you 45grams of whey protein per serving. Then I will have a lean quisine (pizza) for lunch it has 20 grams of protein then later on for a snack a builders bar with 12grams of protein .......thats only 77grams I could easily add 12 more grams by eating a greek yogurt called oikios by dannon . This reminds me of being on weight watchers before I had the lapband you have to keep eating even when you dont want to you have to eat all of your points for the day ....but I did lose the weight, but I would always gain it back
