My husband and I went out for dinner with an acquaintance. We opted for water over drinks and no appetizers.

I ordered roasted duck leg with lentils and apricots. Yummy! I made a fine choice. The food was fabulous. I have a feeling, though, when my lap band is in, I'll be bringing home more than half of it.

Hey, by the way. Do any of you have problems eating beans or veggies?

That sounds really good. I found that things with "strings or hard to chew veggies" like mushrooms, snow peas, string beans were harder than broccoli, carrots and squash.

Thanks lava and carolinagirl! Huge fan of beans, broccoli and cauliflower here. Just nervous about gas which I have read here on the forums can be quite dreadful for some. My hubby, who has been banded for almost 2 years, has never mentioned problems with gas.

His struggles are hiccups, and sliming. He pb's sometimes but nothing that is super obvious. Also I think he's only been stuck 2 or 3 times at most. I'm sure not looking forward to any of that.
