Gain Weight

Well here I am approaching week 6 on Monday and have gained one pound. This is about to freak me out. i started back on soild food ffor the first time on Sunday and here it is Thursday and I am up 1.2 pounds. Is this normai? My first fill isn't until the 15th and I just want to do good. I'm going in the corner to cry :unsure:

Well It depends on what type of solid foods your using. If you are eating lean protein( not fried) ,fruits and veggies you shouldn't gain. The gain didn't happen to me but I did like maintain couple days after. Maybe our bodies has to adapt to the change. Who knows?:)

YES IT IS NORMAL! Don't get worried, many people experience slight weight gain after the transition because there is actually real food for the body to process/digest. I even remember reading that B52 (who is now at goal) gained some weight the first few months.

Just watch your portion sizes and try to make the best choices possible.

It is quite normal, and everyone banded that I know also gained once they went on real food, the loss comes after you get adjustments to your band. Relax it will get better.
