So today's meal consisted of Lentil soup

But since i can't eat with out regurgitating, i just dipped the spoon in the broth,

licked it clean and repeated a few times.

took a good 20 mins to "eat" 3 spoonfuls

I've been working really hard at it today

and i have not vomited yet!

Yay!

no vomit!

Although I did get stuck!

Spring break officially over in 2 hours

then back to the grind!

I have to get my shakes ready

and maybe some emergency juice.

No food though ;(

Oh, how i miss my midday spinach salad with 7 grape tomatoes!

mmm...tomatoes.

Is it weird that I've been having really funky dreams?

Some food related,

some just really out there?

also,

how much should a lapbander be eating?

oz wise?

how much fluid?

carbs?

fats?

veggies/fruits?

protein i know is between 60-80g

I can definitely relate to your circumstances.....I have been in your shoes many of times. After 5 years of this battle, I feel the band was really to tight and this was not a healthy way of living especially when I had to release it 2 - 3 times a day. This is very tough on your esphagus. I had to really journal my food and fluid intake and how many time it came back out. I did lots of praying to finally make the decision to have some taken out. I have battled with the Dr. about taking out to much when I totally felt exhausted from living this way. (Sometimes I would need to go back for a small fill.) For whatever reason after a month or so my band would tighten up again. Finally last week I had to go to a new dr cuz my left the area and that was a blessing in disguese. He took out a very small amt. and I FEEL I HAVE FINALLY WHERE I AM SUPPOSE TO BE TO START LOOSING AGAIN! Fluids and food pass thru much easier and rarely get stuck. I still chew and eat very slowly but it actually goes through! I am able to eat my fruits and veggies, etc. I feel so much like a normal person again as weird as that sounds. Not sure if this info will help you but just wanted to share this with you!
