me too i would do it a million times over!! get it done for your sake and your children, i have 3 boys and they are very active so i got to be healthy and strong for them, do it! do it! do it!!!

I too was Type 2 before banding and it didn't take long before I was not!! I am now 6 years post op and whenever I start putting on weight I just have it tightened back down. The biggest joy I have found with the band is that I am DIET FREE!!! I just laugh at work when the girls start talking about the diets they are on or how they have to watch EVERYTHING they put in their mouths. LOL, I never have to think about that because I can't eat enough of anything to hurt me LOL. And, I don't worry about overeating ANYMORE!!! The band has given me peace of mind. Before banding I had a portion control problem~~~I ate everything and if it was really good I ate as much as I could hold. Now, there are no more portion control problems. Also, it's kinda funny, but all those buffet restaurants don't mean much to me anymore LOL. It's a waste of money for me to go to an all you can hold till you explode restaurant because I will just explode if I eat more than a 1/2 cup of food LOLOL. GET IT DONE FOR YOU, FOR YOUR ENERGY AND STAMINA, FOR YOUR MEDICAL CONDITIONS AND FOR YOUR PEACE OF MIND!!!!! I don't think you will ever be sorry, I am NOT
