3.5 Month Update (Roughly)...

I-wanna-be-a-loser

I am roughly 3.5 months post banding and down 30 pounds. Started at 226 and currently 196. :D

I thought it would come off faster but I don't think I am in the "green" zone yet. I am doing my best with the workouts now. My soon to be one year old is walking and keeping me very busy!!

I am scheduled for a fill on the 27th, fill number 4... I currently have 5.3cc in a 10 cc band. I hope this one pushes me closer into the "green" zone.

my experiance is very close to yours. im also banded 3.5 months (Dec 13th) , down 25 lbs, started at 225, but lost 5 lbs before surgery so now im at 199 (hit "onderland" yesterday !) i m ok being a slow loser as long as im losing something ! i thought id hit the green zone after my 3rd fill feb 27th, but it went away after a week and a half so i have my 4th fill march 24th. Exercise is 3x a week a fast moving hard working water fitness class that kicks booty ! that occasional walking are all i but it really amkes a difference ! down from size 1x or 18 to size xl or 16. my pants are falling off ! good luck to you !

WOW, I think you are both doing great....I was banded on 12/16 and I'm only down 17lbs..yea that's right only 17 lbs..I had my 3rd fill on 3/12 and now I finally feel some restriction. My dr seems fine with the amount of weight i loss, or should I say lack of weight I lost.lol..He says it needs to be slow b/c I'm on the smaller end of a lap band patient. Well i'm glad he feels that way but I'm ready to shed these pounds.

Wow I think you are doing great too! I can't wait to get under 200 lbs!! I was told 4-8 lbs a month is the norm. Keep up the GREAT work!
