Starting Over-Again

Sigh.....

Starting over again. I'm so sick of thinking and saying those words. I want to be good. I want to be pretty and feel worthwhile. But it's so damn easy to cheat and eat nothing but crap. I think I'm a little over-filled now. I'm supposed to go back to the doc on Friday. But I don't want him to take any fluid out. I just want to lose enough weight that my band fits right. I was eating chocolate covered peanuts this morning, perusing facebook and of course, got stuck. Why? Because my dumbass shouldn't be eating solids at 6:30 in the morning!?!? Why do I do this to myself? So I threw the rest of them out, disgusted and frustrated with myself.

So I came back to this site-I hadn't logged on in months. I'm looking for some support because I've obviously been lacking something. So hopefully this will help. So I guess we'll see. I'm going to try and keep up with the myfitnesspal and this too and maybe, just maybe, something will click.

We shall see.

I'm on the same boat as you, I'm starting all over again, so far so good (I think, I ate like crap this past weekend and still lost 1.5 lbs), but I don't think I'm in the green zone yet, go back to the md on Monday for another fill, hope this one is it :)

If you need support come on this board, I'm on here all the time instead of stuffing my face, people here are so nice and helpful they are all a god send!

Abby at least you are starting over and not giving up. Losing weight with lap band like everything else we all have tried. Old behaviors do not change over night and any change is hard and takes some of us longer than others. We all fall off the wagon now and then but the key is to pick your self up and move forward. What happened over the past few months is exactly that in the past. Look at today as a new beginnng and go back to the basics and follow the rules. Don;t think of this as a diet but a life style change, It is kinda like AA, you take it one day at a time and find what works best for you. Make planning your meals a priority and do inventory of your cabnets and fridge and throw away the junk. Even if you don't post everyday, read the posts on this site. You need to set some small goals and have a win and then you will fill better about yourself but foremost don't beat yourself up I am sure you have done enough of that to last you a life time. Good luck and know we are all here for you. Diane

I'm in the same boat with you. It has been months since I logged on to this site also and I have fell off the bandwagon with my band. I went to a fill appointment for he first time in 2 years because i can eat way more than I should. They did an X-ray on me and come to find out I have a dialated pouch, so they took fluid out. I'm on 3 days liquids then 3 days soft foods just like it would be if I got a fill. I have to go back in 3 weeks to get it checked to see if the pouch goes back down to normal size before they give me a fill. I need to find a support group to because I totally fell off the bandwagon hard.
