The 31st must be a popular day for bands!! That's my surgery date, too! I was very fortunate and didn't start my journey until November, so things have moved along very quickly for me. I could have had my surgery at the end on December, but had a cruise scheduled this month and then needed the two weeks for the post-op diet!

I am getting Band on Jan 30th so will be great to watch how much we all lose over time. I can always use more support.

I'm get banded on January 31st too - yeah us! I am also nervous and excited. I love this site and just recently started coming back to it. totally a secret,the only ones that know are my husband,my one sister-in-law and one cousin that is it work dont know they think its a hiatial hernia not a lie just not the whole truth !!!!! cant wait till tuesday......

My pre-op diet has been meat, cheese and eggs which I'm so sick of, but thankful that I haven't had to be on an all liquid diet. I have lost 5lbs in the last week...woo hoo!!

The countdown has totally began...I will be at the hospital in 12 short hours to start the process...Reality has really set in and I'm very scared and very nervous. I want this more than anything, but a small part of me wants to back out, but I won't!! Good luck to all getting banded tomorrow See all of you on the other side!!
