I actually ate exactly the same as before surgery until after my 3rd fill. About 4 mths into surgery. I could eat a large Quiznos sandwich with no proble. - now I eat about 4 bites and I'm stuffed. Good luck!

Unfortunatly everyone is different, I had restriction after my first fill. My surgeon put in 5 cc first time I had a fill, I really struggled after my first fill, food got stuck a lot for about a month until I learned to eat and chew. I had a second fill, in Feb of this year, 1 1/2 cc's and had to have 1 cc removed within the first 24 hours because I could not even swallow water. I pretty much stay in my green zone now, I am losing slowly. I do occassional have a stuck episode but it is usually when I am stressed and trying to eat on the run or make a choice that is not the best for me. It may take you a while to get to the green zone but just a caution that you still have to follow the rules even if you don't have restriction. Good Luck!

I didn't start losing until after my 3rd fill and I think that put me right around 5cc's. I'm now at 8cc's and 100lbs lighter. I lost the 100lbs in about 11 months and have been maintaining for about 8 months. I was just like you, I thought I wouldnt lose and always thought I was doing something wrong but it works just give it time and you will hit your sweet spot in no time! :)

I didn't start feeling restriction untill my 4th fill. I am 10 months out and just really startedto drop weight. The first few months I was like a yoyo lose a few and gain and then lose a few and gain. I am finally at a steady rate of losing.
