I'm in Chicago and I decided "Today" that I'm getting banded. I'm new to the site but am inspired and excited about all the info and stories I've found. I too have been met with family and friends who feel I don't need this, etc. But in reality, the band is a tool I will use to conquer the weight demon that has followed me my whole life. I'm moving ahead from a spiritual lens...my weight has be a cruch and a place of safety. I have never been average sized and don't know anything but size 22-32. I will be a support to you and I will need you to be one for me. Together, we will achieve the life God has for us. Don't allow other people's fears to keep you bound-i'm not. Sure, people are nervous but that's because it takes courage to make changes. I'm more than a pretty face, and have always accomplished everything I set out to do but loose weight! Guess what, I prayed to God and asked him if its covered, I'm doing it. Learned today-"IT'S COVERED 100%" Don't worry, I'm excited for you and the transformation that we are about to experience. I can't wait to see the new me, my surgery will be in January. What a way to start the new year? I turn 40, am lauching a business, and will loose weight. Focus on the end results and they will change their minds as they watch you change.

Have you tried Isopure protein drinks? Honestly, they don't taste very great but they do fill you up. You can buy them at the grocery store, vitamin store, anywhere really.

I only had to do a three day liquid diet, and that was bad enough. Can't imagine doing two weeks.

I have not tried the Isopure yet! It is day five and I am sooooo grouchy I want to eat I hate the fact that I have to cook and I can't eat what I cook OMG !!!!! but I am going to try the Isopure today and see what happens thanks for the advice sandworms !

I remember on my liquid, I would be sitting at work staring out my office window, and all of a sudden get in the worst mood possible. I hated everything. That happened on day two I think, hopefully it passes and your body gets used to it.

lol Omg I am going thru that today anything my kids or husband says is just annoying me that's bad lol but I just told them I am not feeling it today .
