Taking flight any suggestions?

I have to go on a business trip. This will be my first flight since having the band put in. Should I expect any problems? Any suggestions as far as taking protien along on the trip ?? I don't want to take a whole big container I'll only be gone four days. Protien as carry on or just in baggage?

My band is as tight as I can get it and still eat. I asked for the extreme before I moved and boy did I get it. My husband has finally figured out how much I can eat without throwing up. I was vomiting after every meal for awhile and live to far to go to the doctor every time I may need an adjustment. I'm concerned about eating in front of people because of eating slow and not being able to eat a full plate of food they serve. I've requested smaller portions and no large vegatables. I'd rather not eat than have to keep leaving the table to go vomit.

Anyone got anything else I'm forgetting about?

I flew 2 weeks after being banded. They let me bring one closed liquid protein drink on board plane had to buy drinks when I got to my destination. They are very strict do not plan to bring to much you will have to throw it away. I was fine flying I had no problems with my band. Stay hydrated that is all.

Happy travels and best wishes imaluckydog

so what about taking powered protien along? With the area and the meetings I'm going to be going to it's either take something with me or do without. and what about vitamins are they going to say anything about taking medications along?

I do not think you will have any problem taking powder mixes with you. You will need to bring something to mix the powder drinks in. Hotels do not have very big cups in the rooms. I took all kind of pills with me and vitamins with no problem what so ever. Best wishes imaluckydog
